People & Culture Coordinator (FTC)

Job Description

We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career within a global business, gaining exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

As HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting employees and managers across a range of HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee development, benefits administration and offboarding. Working closely with the wider People & Culture team, you will help ensure HR processes run smoothly while delivering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Providing support to the People and Culture team.

Deliver comprehensive HR administrative support across all stages of the employee life cycle including but not limited to:

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new starters, including pre-employment checks, right to work documentation and induction arrangements. 
  • Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews and candidate communications. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within HR systems. 
  • Support employee lifecycle changes, including contractual amendments, promotions, transfers and employee exits. 
  • Coordinate monthly payroll activities, ensuring employee changes and relevant documentation are processed accurately and in line with payroll deadlines.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities and support the exit interview process. 
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, wellbeing initiatives and recognition programmes. 
  • Assist with the coordination of learning and development activities, including maintaining training records. 
  • Produce HR reports and people data as required. 
  • Respond to HR queries and provide administrative support to employees and managers. 
  • Ensure HR records and processes remain compliant with GDPR and company policies.

About you

  • Essential
    • Previous HR administration, HR coordination or people-focused administration experience. 
    • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
    • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. 
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. 
    • Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team.
    • Understanding of UK employment legislation, GDPR and HR best practice.
  • Desirable

    • Experience using HR systems (e.g. iTrent or equivalent). 
    • Experience supporting payroll, recruitment, onboarding or employee lifecycle processes
    • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.

What you'll earn (you won't find "competitive salary” written instead of a figure on our watch!)

£26,000 - £28,000 per annum
