 The role will provide HR support within the Country, managing a small HR team and striving to make a significant positive contribution to the continued success of the business. The role will develop, implement and execute the HR strategy in line with the Country strategy, taking into account the local legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring an optimally functioning workforce with motivated and satisfied employees, ensuring that they Country HR strategy and approach is also consistent with both the Overland and Rhenus group vision and expectations.

What you'll earn (you won't find "competitive salary” written instead of a figure on our watch!)

To include but not limited to;

·       To act as a HR Manager, developing positive relationships to directly support the Director and managers within the Country

·       Ensuring that the people plans are aligned with the Country, Overland and Rhenus group HR objectives

·       To keep appraised of internal and social developments, maintaining full compliance with any legal requirements

·       To provide support, advice and guidance to the management team and employees in respect of all HR related topics

·       To develop and support the division with its recruitment strategy and onboarding of new talent

·       To identify, develop and deliver talent programs to allow for internal growth and development, reviewing both operational and leadership requirements

·       To support the Country participation in any Overland or Group led people initiatives, ensuring local alignment

·       To assist in the development and structure of both operational and management trainings, making use of the Rhenus Learning Management System

·       To develop and support the divisions approach to succession planning, identifying high potential

employees

·       To develop a fit for purpose and fit for future approach to people development

·       To manage, benchmark and evaluate local compensation and benefits arrangements

·       To support the management team with employee relations activity, acting as the contact person for any external party involvement

·       To review, support and develop employee engagement activity across the Country

·       To drive and support HR best practice throughout the Country

·       To ensure that people are at the heart of the organization, continually striving to improve the employee experience and engagement levels  

·       To proactively promote and embed the company’s core values, leadership fundamentals and focus on excellence.

·       To drive embed the employer branding and leverage this through people related activity, focusing on benefits to both new and existing employees  

·       To contribute to the development of policies and processes and pro-actively support the delivery of HR policy and processes across the division

·       To manage and maintain accurate data across all HR related systems

·       To manage and develop the local HR Team
