People Business Partner 
East of England  
£40,000 per annum 
Full time – 37.5 hours per week 
Hybrid – 4 days on site(s) and 1 day from home 

4 Month Fixed Term Contract 

Must be based within an easy commute of both Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough and St Johns in Moggerhanger

You will be responsible for: 

Building strong relationships with managers and providing HR advice 
Managing complex employee relations cases 
Advising on employment law and people practices 
Coaching managers to build capability 
Supporting wellbeing and inclusion initiatives 
Contributing to organisation-wide people projects 
Ensuring compliant, values-led people decisions

Minimum Essential Criteria 
 
To qualify for our Disability Confident 'Offer an Interview' scheme, applicants must demonstrate that they meet the following minimum essential criteria: 
 
• Experience of managing complex employee relations cases and providing HR advice to managers. 
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships. 
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively. 
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience). 
 
 Desirable Criteria 
 
• Experience of TUPE. 
• Experience within healthcare, charity or retail environments. 
• Experience contributing to organisational change or people projects. 
• Creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
