HR Adviser - Bolton Council

Job Description

We are seeking to recruit three HR Advisers (one Grade H and two Grade F-G) to join our HR Team. Details of the levels can be found in the job description.

Working in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, you will provide professional HR advice and support across a range of people matters, including employee relations, attendance management, organisational change and workforce initiatives. Depending on your skills and experience, you may also lead on complex casework, projects and policy development.

About You

You’ll be a HR professional with experience of providing people-focused advice and support, together with a sound understanding of employment law and HR best practice.

We’re looking for individuals who are solutions-focused and customer-oriented, excellent communicators with strong relationship-building skills, confident managing a varied workload and competing priorities and experienced in employee relations casework.

Following an office-based induction period, hybrid working is available to staff in line with Council policy, with the expectation that the majority of working hours are completed in the office.

What you'll earn (you won't find "competitive salary” written instead of a figure on our watch!)

Grade F £31,022 to £34,434 pay award pending

Grade G £34,434 to £38,220 pay award pending

Grade H £38,220 to £41,771 pay award pending

Contract: 1x Permanent - Grade H, 2x 12 month Fixed Term Contracts Grade F-G
