Title:  ER Advisor

Contract Type: 1x Permanent and 2 x FTC (12 months)

Salary: from £42,149 per annum (London weighted salary) or from £37,573 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 8

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our ER Team at L&Q:

At L&Q, our Employee Relations team plays a critical role in supporting the business through change, challenge, and growth. We are looking for 3 experienced Employee Relations Advisors to join us, two  for a minimum of 12 month fixed term contracts and 1 permanent position, supporting a high volume of ER activities across a large multi-site organisation

Your impact in the role:

  •  Managing a diverse and complex ER caseload (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and more)
  •  Providing clear, pragmatic, and commercially aware advice to managers
  •  Taking full ownership of cases from initial advice through to resolution
  •   Supporting managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER matters
  •   Identifying trends and contributing to continuous improvement across ER practices

What you'll bring:

  •  Have strong experience managing end-to-end ER casework in a complex organisation
  •  Demonstrate solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  •  Be confident in challenging and influencing stakeholders at different levels
  •  Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  •   Be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  •   Communicate clearly and professionally, particularly in sensitive or high-risk situations
