HR Business Partner

Job Description

Exciting Full-Time opportunity available for a HR Business Partner to join our team at HTG-UK

Who Are We?

At Health Transportation Group UK, we are one of the UK’s leading providers of Non-Emergency Patient Transport, supporting thousands of vulnerable patients across the UK. We proudly serve the NHS, completing over 800,000 essential journeys every year. With 12 operational bases and a dedicated team of over 800 passionate professionals, we deliver safe, caring, and high-quality care across the country.

What Can You Expect?

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic HR team and help shape the future with us.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is home-based with travel to our operational sites in the Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk areas, supported by flexible remote working and a friendly, people‑centred HR team.

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive, high‑performing workplace. You’ll provide expert support across the full people agenda - from employee relations and change management to business restructuring and complex casework.

Partnering closely with your designated business areas, you’ll champion HR best practice and help leaders deliver both short and long‑term organisational goals. You’ll also drive and support key HR projects, ensuring engagement, ownership and smooth, timely implementation across the business.

A Typical Day Could See You:

  • Partnering with the HR Director to deliver the HR Strategy and ensure HR activity supports business goals.
  • Acting as a true business partner to operational leaders, embedding strong people practices across the organisation.
  • Leading and advising on complex employee relations matters, ensuring decisions follow legislation, policy and ACAS guidance.
  • Coaching and supporting managers to build positive employee relations and confidently handle people‑related issues.
  • Driving a strong performance management culture, supporting managers to develop high performers and address underperformance.
  • Supporting organisational change, including restructures, cultural change and business transformation.
  • Leading on people‑related aspects of contract mobilisation and demobilisation, including TUPE where required.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR‑related CQC, contractual and legal requirements.
  • Owning HR data and reporting for your area, providing insight to drive improvement.
  • Upholding strict confidentiality and maintaining accurate, compliant HR records.

What you'll earn (you won't find "competitive salary” written instead of a figure on our watch!)

  •  Salary - £40,000 per year, plus a company car or car allowance

What you'll receive in return (Benefits)

  • Sick Pay & Support – Contractual sick pay and access to Employee Assistance Programme
