We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator, ideally with a background in HR, who understands the importance of accuracy in their work and delivering a professional employee experience.

 About the HR Administrator role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, improving processes, and ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience from onboarding through to offboarding.

As an integral part of the HR Operations function, you will be our people's first point of contact, whilst acting as a central point for all HR administrative activity, ensuring our people processes run efficiently and accurately while maintaining highquality data, systems, and compliance.

This position is based in our Peterborough office. We are open to both full‑time and part‑time arrangements, with flexibility on working hours and days between Monday and Friday.

 Key Responsibilities:

  •  Deliver endtoend HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding all the way through to offboarding, ensuring all processes are completed accurately, consistently, and on time
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries via the shared inbox—triaging requests, resolving routine queries, and escalating more complex matters where needed
  • Coordinate probation review cycles and support managers with timely reminders and documentation
  • Administer employee benefits processes, including enrolments and changes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
  • Work collaboratively with wider business support functions to ensure a seamless and efficient approach to employee lifecycle processes
  • Maintain and update HR systems (e.g., Personio), ensuring high data integrity and supporting reporting needs
  • Support HR-related activities and initiatives, including engagement projects, staff committees, and wellbeing or awareness events
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as reasonably requested

Who is our ideal candidate?

  •  Strong administrative experience, ideally within HR or a people-focused environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A proactive, helpful, and teamoriented approach
  •  Strong IT skills, including Microsoft
  • Clear communication skills and a passion for delivering an excellent employee experience

Reward and development:

Buckles recognises the success of every employee and works with you to ensure you have what you need to maximise your potential and develop your career.

Alongside a host of development, professionally and personally, we offer some fantastic benefits, which include:

  • 25 days annual leave + all UK Bank Holidays.
  • Birthday leave each year (or closest working day to your birthday).
