Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional HR Advisor to support our manufacturing operations across 3 sites in West, East and North Yorkshire. This role will provide professional HR guidance and support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to the Production Managers, providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law to ensure consistent and fair application across all sites.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance and support on disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives, including engagement programs, diversity and inclusion and well-being initiatives.
  • Conduct regular site visits to provide hands-on HR support and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in employee engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate HR record-keeping and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety team to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Manage employee relations case work, including investigations, disciplinary, grievances, and appeals.
  • Oversee the management of absence cases, including liaising with third-party practitioners and occupational health to support employees' return to work.
  • Undertake exit interviews, capturing and analysing key trends to inform people strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CIPD Qualification
  • Proven experience in an HR advisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in handling complex employee relations cases with professionalism and discretion.
  • Willingness to travel between regional sites as required.
  • Full valid driving licence

  • Salary Up to £40k plus £5k car allowance
