HR Officer (Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Description

About the Role

IQGeo is seeking an HR Officer to deliver high-quality HR support across a growing team of software engineers and business professionals. This fixed-term maternity cover role plays a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on Learning & Development, employee experience, and day-to-day HR advisory support.

This is a hands-on HR generalist role requiring sound judgement, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to apply HR knowledge to practical situations. You will work closely with managers to resolve people matters, strengthen capability, and ensure consistent, compliant HR operations.

In addition to core HR responsibilities, this role will actively support and help coordinate Learning & Development initiatives across the business — helping to drive engagement, manager capability, and career development.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Cambridge office, offering a blend of office presence (2–3 days per week) and remote work.

Estimated Contract End Date: February 2027 (~10 month maternity cover)
