At The GORSE Academies Trust (GORSE), HR plays a central role in enabling organisational success through people. We are seeking a confident and credible HR Business Partner to join our forward‑thinking central team and support leaders across our educational establishments. 

This is a high‑impact role, working alongside senior leaders to shape strategy, strengthen practice and help create an inclusive and effective culture across GORSE. 

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll play a central role across the trust, working closely with Principals and leadership teams to: 

  • Align HR strategy with organisational goals. 
  • Lead on complex employee relations cases, bringing clarity and resolution at pace. 
  • Drive organisational development, performance management and change initiatives. 
  • Use data and insight to influence and support decision making.
  • Support talent management, succession planning and workforce development.
  • Champion a positive, values driven culture across GORSE. 

What we’re looking for 

We’re looking for someone who is not only technically strong, but also confident influencing at senior level. 

You’ll bring: 

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience in either a HR Business Partner, HR Manager or Advisor role.
  • Confidence managing complex and sensitive employee relations issues.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
  • A data informed mindset and ability to drive improvement.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Salary: PO3–PO4 (SCP 32–38)

£44,253 - £50,908

Hours: 37 Hours per week, all year round
