The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Talent Development Manager to partner with our teams across the whole of CEF in the UK. Based within the People, Culture & Talent team, you will work closely with stakeholders across our business, to design, develop and deliver end-to-end Talent Development solutions, programmes and philosophies —enabling teams to grow, develop and perform.
In this newly created position, you will provide expert guidance on talent development, leadership capability, employee experience and performance and results driven cultures. Implementing organisational wide development initiatives and delivering solutions that strengthen capability and support business objectives and functional goals.
You’ll be tech-savvy, AI aware and commercially astute, with strong talent analytic skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. As our team continues to evolve and support wider teams, considering external talent trends, and new ways of working you will play a key role in helping leaders adapt roles, skills and operating models in a structured and people centred way. Equally, you’ll be passionate about building strong relationships and bring a people-centred mindset—helping to close critical gaps while reflecting our purpose, goals and values.
The Responsibilities:
Strategic partnership: Collaborate with leadership to align PCT strategies with business goals and act as a strategic advisor. Support leaders in navigating organisational change and evolving operating models.
Talent development lifecycle: Own end to end strategic roadmap and planning of organisational development and leadership learning solutions and practices
Talent management: Partner with functional leaders and the talent acquisition and talent development teams on workforce planning, retention, and succession planning. Support performance management and development frameworks that reflect changing role expectations and skill needs. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of roles as work becomes increasingly digital and automation assisted.
Coaching and development: Coach managers on leadership skills, performance, and team motivation.
Leadership development: Partner with external experts to identify needs, design and deliver commercially relevant development solutions
Organisation development: Support organisational design, restructuring and change initiatives across functions. Help leaders build effective, inclusive and high performing teams. Embed cultural transformation aligned to company values and ways of working.
Line Management: Lead the Talent Development Partner, providing guidance, support and direction.
Data analysis: Use people data and insights to inform decision making, identifying trends and where interventions may be needed. Balance historical and engagement data with forward looking indications such as capability readiness, role clarity and change absorption. Translate insight into practical actions that support future organisation needs.
Programme implementation: Implement and continuously improve People, Culture and Talent programmes, initiatives, and systems.
The Requirements:
CIPD L5 or above
Experience in managing HR / L&D systems and processes
Three years plus generalist Leadership Development experience
Ability to work independently, make decisions and deliver solutions
Up to £80,000PA
