Funbox Entertainment (UK) Ltd, part of the SEGA Amusements International Ltd Group, is a growing multi-site business operating across the arcade, hospitality, and retail sectors.

Our operations include both company-owned sites and partnerships with third-party venues, including family entertainment centres such as Urban Fun, as well as other external leisure operators.

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time HR Advisor to provide hands-on HR support across multiple locations, working closely with managers and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be based at our Chessington office, with occasional travel to operational sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee lifecycle (starters, leavers, transfers)
  • Coordinate onboarding (contracts, right-to-work checks, references)
  • Maintain HR records and systems (CezanneHR preferred)
  • Support probation reviews and employee benefits
  • Draft job descriptions and adverts
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Provide HR advice to managers across multiple sites
  • Support employee relations cases (absence, performance, capability)
  • Advise on HR policies and procedures
  • Support payroll processes and maintain HR data
  • Produce reports (absence, turnover, headcount)
  • Support performance management and pay reviews

Requirements

Essential:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • 2+ years in a standalone HR position
  • Experience managing employee relations cases
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to support multiple sites
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems

Desirable:

  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or leisure sectors
  • Multi-site experience
  • Deputy experience
  • Payroll exposure
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)

  • (£35K pro-rata) plus up to 7.5% discretionary annual bonus
