The Senior HR Advisor provides high quality HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, supporting the delivery of a fair, consistent, and legally compliant people service. This role leads on employee relations issues, coaches managers in effective people management, and contributes to wider HR initiatives that support organisational success, culture, and employee wellbeing.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Act as a key advisor to line managers on people issues. Advise managers on appropriate actions, ensuring consistency with employment law and organisational policy.
- Provide expert interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures; ensure managers understand and follow them.
- Contribute to updating policies in line with legislative changes and best practice.
Employee Relations
- Lead and manage ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, sickness absence, and capability.
- Ensure all casework is managed consistently, fairly, and in line with policy and employment law.
- Support formal hearings, including preparing documentation
- Build capability by coaching leaders in consistent and effective people management.
- Support workforce planning and organisational change.
HR Data, Reporting & Systems
- Analyse HR data to identify trends (e.g., absence, turnover, ER themes). Produce reports and insights that support informed decision making.
- Recommend actions based on data to improve people outcomes.
- Collaborate on projects to enhance processes and efficient HR operations through the HR system (NetSuite).
Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing
- Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational culture.
- Participate in projects to improve employee experience.
Operational HR Support
- Maintain accurate HR records ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Support the facilitation of routine HR processes including the Performance Review Process and Promotions Process in partnership with the wider HR Team.
- Support wider HR team activities, projects, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a role model for positive HR practice and values led leadership.
- Be prepared to support with administrative duties (Payroll, absences, conducting exit interviews, support global hiring via Employer of Record etc.)

Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential.
- Proven experience in a similar HR advisory or generalist role.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR policies.
- Exposure to HR practices in North America and APAC regions would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range ÂŁ45k to ÂŁ60k (Depending on experience)
