Community Gateway Association is a not-for-profit community-based housing association, set up in 2005 after tenants voted for a transfer of properties from Preston City Council, to meet the housing needs of people in Preston and the surrounding area.

We are not your typical housing association- and that’s deliberate. Based in Preston, we manage homes across the city, but what really sets us apart is how we work: with our customers, not just for them.

Our Gateway model puts tenants at the centre of decision-making. They help shape services, influence priorities, and hold us to account. It keeps us focused, grounded, and constantly improving—because the people who live in our homes have a genuine voice in how we operate.
