From the smallest of acorns....
The HR Ninjas movement was born in January 2018 when I decided to start a Facebook group for HR. What started out as 30 of my HR friends coming together to talk about the realities of life in HR has grown into a private, professionally run community of more than 38,000 HR professionals - still on Facebook, still human-first and still fiercely protective of each other and the safe space that we’ve built as a collective.
Our digital presence grows every single day across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, email and our jobs board - all organically, intentionally and with community at the heart. Every new member is verified by us, by hand, because trust, safety and belonging matter here. Our members come first always. And every action we take, every decision we make is always with our members front and centre. As a team we care passionately about the work we do and our hashtag of #strongertogether holds true and firm as strong today as it did when we first started out
We’re now looking for a Community & Ops Administrator. Someone who understands the power of community driven content and wants to help us keep growing in a way that feels authentic, inclusive and true to our roots.
You'll be joining a small team where every contribution matters.
You’ll be the person who keeps our community, partners and Jobs Board running smoothly.
If you're someone who gets genuine satisfaction from organisation, accuracy, workflows and being the calm, steady heartbeat of a busy digital community... then this role has your name all over it.
We care about your voice, your attitude and your instinct for community.
You'll need to have some admin experience and be able to demonstrate how you can work autonomously and without too much supervision
Being self-motivated and passionate about delivering a fantastic experience for our members is an essential ingredient for this job!
There is lots of scope for personal development and growth in this role
A full breakdown of responsibilities, expectations and success measures is included in the attached Community & Ops Administrator Role Profile here.
We’re a remote-first team but we make time to get together in person at least once a week. Expect regular co-working days in Nottingham where we plan, create and reconnect as a team.
Everything else? Work from wherever you feel you do your best work.
We are in the fabulous position where we can work hours that fit around our lives. This isn't a 9-5 Monday to Friday gig where you will be chained to your laptop. We work flexibly and we measure our team by the work they deliver!
We're a small but mighty team of 4! Connect with us and take a scroll through our profiles to get to know us better

Our approach to pay and perks is simple: fair, transparent and focused on what matters most. We invest in wellbeing, learning and connection because these are the foundations of how we work and how we show up for each other, our partners and the HR community we serve.
As a growing business, we may not have the biggest budget but we’re intentional about making every pound count. We also know that in order to do you best work you need to feel valued, supported and empowered. From health and wellbeing support to development opportunities and regular team connection, our benefits are designed to help every member of our small-but-mighty team feel valued, supported and part of something genuinely special.
No two ways about it. Working in HR is a tough gig! Massively rewarding, but also challenging and at times exhausting. Often in HR we spend so much time looking out for others that we forget to look out for ourselves.
We know because we've been there...
Trusted and loved by more than 38k HR Professionals, our Community offers a unique space for connection and collaboration. Professional, but unashamedly non-corporate, warm, fun and friendly - we offer the UK's largest online platform for HR to share and learn with each other.
We want HR professionals to feel educated, empowered, equipped and enabled to show up as their brilliant and best selves at work.
This is our reason for getting out of bed and it powers everything that we do!
