What Can You Expect?

We’re currently on the lookout for a proactive and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic HR team and help shape the future with us.

This is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday). This is a hybrid role with travel to our operational sites in the Ipswich, Colchester, Clacton and Bury St Edmunds areas, β€‹supported by flexible remote working and the support of a collaborative HR team.

As a HRBP, you will be the key link between the business and our people, providing strategic and hands-on HR support across the defined area. You will partner with managers to drive organisational performance, foster a high-performance culture, and lead key people initiatives. Supporting the HR Director, you’ll help deliver the wider HR strategy. As HTG-UK continues to grow, you may also take responsibility for additional contracts and lead a wider HR team as your portfolio expands.

A Typical Day Could See You:

  • Managing complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence).
  • Leading and supporting change management programmes, including TUPE transfers and restructures.
  • Analysing workforce trends to guide management decisions and workforce planning.
  • Partnering with leaders to identify high-potential talent and support succession planning across key roles.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting and delivering HR projects aligned to business objectives.
  • Developing and ensuring consistent application of HR policies in line with legal, regulatory and best practice standards.
  • Contributing to initiatives that support employee engagement, wellbeing, and D, E, & I.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (essential).
    • Extensive experience as a HRBP.
    • Strong employment law & HR best practice knowledge.
    • TUPE/change management expertise.
    • Solid ER case handling.
    • Strong communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Decisive in fast-paced environments.
    • Full UK Manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points and the willingness to travel.Desirable: healthcare, logistics, or transport experience.

What you'll earn (you won't find "competitive salary” written instead of a figure on our watch!)
